Mississippi Court Docket is a private reference service, not a courthouse or statewide records counter. Official case questions belong with the court and clerk that hold the record. The route depends on the court tier: PAMEC serves eligible MEC cases, Circuit and Chancery Clerks handle their respective county records, and Justice or Municipal Court matters stay local. The links below direct readers to the statewide information or county-level office most likely to answer an official records, copy, or court-date question.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. Mississippi Court Docket cannot search an official docket on a visitor’s behalf, reset a setting, seal or amend a case, issue a certified copy, or give legal advice. For an official answer, contact the court or records custodian directly.

For an Official Docket or Record

Choose the channel by the type of question and the court named on the case paper:

  • A statewide case lookup: register for Mississippi docket search access through PAMEC when the case is in Circuit, Chancery, County, or appellate court. Remote non-attorney search has an annual charge and per-page result fees.
  • A complete docket sheet or certified copy: ask the holding clerk. Circuit Clerks keep Circuit and County Court records; Chancery Clerks keep Chancery records. Reach local offices through Browse Counties.
  • A Justice Court or Municipal Court ticket: use the court printed on the citation or notice. Those lower-court dockets are not part of the statewide MEC trial-court coverage.
  • A hearing date: review the case docket and latest notice, then confirm the setting with the court clerk or coordinator. The Mississippi court schedule shows court terms and directory details, not every case’s live hearing list.
  • An appellate filing or order: contact the Office of the Supreme Court Clerk and follow the appellate court’s filing and records instructions.

The Administrative Office of the Courts supports the Mississippi Judiciary and MEC, but it does not replace a county clerk as the custodian for a specific case. For technical account or PAMEC access issues, use the help contact on the official MEC site. For the case itself, begin with the court named on the notice and the corresponding office in the county directory.
